I've heard of it but haven't read it. Supposedly the author promises you can have anything you want in life simply by imagining it coming true or meditating on it or some such nonsense.

I forced myself to read the thing. It's a recycling of some tired old delusions that keep coming back every few years and are familiar to most people under names like creative visualization, the power of positive thinking, etc. What I found particularly irritating about this book is that it contains many distortions and misintrepretations of some exciting data and ideas from such fields as quantum physics, parapsychology and consciousness research. I believe there is a kernel of truth in the premise of this book, in that mind is a real force in the universe, but this kernel of truth has been made to support a load of mindless happytalk. Life is more than some sort of lucid dream. There's still no substitute for working your ass off for the things you want, and even then there's no guarantee that you'll get them.
